Atelier Vitae is a sole-proprietor career-writing studio operated by Raghav from Longowal, Punjab, India. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you share with us. If anything here is unclear, write to raghav@ateliervitae.org and we will explain it.
Who is responsible for your information
Raghav, trading as Atelier Vitae. Contact: raghav@ateliervitae.org, or WhatsApp +91 84491 36506. There is no wider team and no third-party writing staff; the person who reads your document is the person who writes it.
What we collect
- What you send us in the enquiry form: your name, email address, optional WhatsApp number, your career stage, the role you are targeting, and anything you write in the message field.
- What you send us for a review or a project: your resume or CV, cover letters, LinkedIn URL, transcripts, job postings, and whatever comes up during a discovery call. This frequently includes employment history, education, salary context and other details about your working life.
- Correspondence: emails and WhatsApp messages between us, and notes taken during a discovery call.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use behavioural cookies, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use your information only to review your document, run the discovery call, write and revise your documents, and correspond with you about your project. We process it on the basis of your consent and in order to perform the service you have asked us for. We do not use it for anything else.
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than the service providers that make the studio function. Those are: Google Workspace, which hosts our email; Netlify, which hosts this website and receives enquiry-form submissions; and WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us there. Each holds your data under its own terms.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with recruiters, job boards, training companies or anyone else. We will never add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.
Confidentiality and portfolio use
Nothing you share is published. If we would like to use part of your work as a portfolio sample or before-and-after, we will ask you in writing first, and you are free to say no without it affecting anything. Where permission is given, the sample is fully anonymised: names, employers, institutions, dates and any other identifying detail are removed or altered.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Client files are kept for two years after delivery, so that we can help with updates and re-angles. You can ask us to delete everything sooner and we will, subject to any records we are legally required to retain for tax purposes.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, withdraw your consent, or ask us to erase your information. Write to raghav@ateliervitae.org and we will respond within thirty days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Files and correspondence are held in access-controlled accounts protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if anything affecting your information goes wrong.
Children
Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian make contact on your behalf.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects existing clients, tell them directly.
